| This project provided the opportunity to design a whole new residence on a large north facing block. At the centre of the house is a stair/gallery space that allows light, though overhead skylights, to penetrate deep into the large house. Sustainable initiatives include large amounts of insulated thermal mass in the form of masonry construction to greatly reduce the heating and cooling costs and 32,000 litres of rainwater storage for reuse in the home, pool and garden. | |||||||
