The brief was to provide contemporary living spaces in a cold and dark federation house. The new addition optimises environmental performance with it's northern orientation. Winter sun is allowed to penetrate the space while the summer sun is excluded. Utilising sustainable timbers, under deck water tanks and new generation low wattage T5 up lights the house reduces it environmental foot print. |
