RECYCLE house darlington



A medium sized terrace house, built on an inner city block, adopts best practice eco principles to achieve a high levels of sustainability. This is achieved through recycling water, materials and energy. Collection of 6,000 litres of rainwater is further supplemented by reusing grey-water from the bath & shower for flushing toilets, washing machine and watering the garden all via a reed bed filtration system. Energy consumption is greatly reduced by the use of efficient fixtures and the provision of solar power generation. Download Project Sheet (206KB)
