Set on a spectacular bush block covered in grass trees, the new four bedroom house had to address many issues that urban sites seldom see. These included a steep rocky topography requiring geotechnical advice, a bush fire resistant design and no town sewer. Along with these issues the new state government’s ‘Basix’ requirements needed to be addressed requiring more sustainably designed housing. |
