Designed for a young creative couple, the existing terrace was a dark rabbit warren and in need of a complete re-think. The emphasis was to maximise natural light which involved cutting in a two storey light void into the centre of the house and adding a lane way sky light. This allowed north light to flood deep into the interior. An architectural language of folding roof plains, opening up to the north, was created. Download Project Sheet (177KB) |
