The terrace on a double block had a renovation done a number of years ago which did not make the most of the site. The new quickly approved design, lowered and opened the rear of the house by inserting two large steel beams that hold up the existing first floor. Infloor solar hydronic heating, 7000L of rainwater storage and solar power generation are some of the features that make the house more sustainable. Rozelle green recieved a national BPN sustainability award in 2009. |
